The Harbour Cruises company offers a range of different boat cruises and tours departing from Vancouver Harbour. These range from the Harbour Tour itself, to the Indian Arm Luncheon Cruise, to a Sunset Dinner Cruise as well as several other cruises too.
Vancouver Harbour Cruises are based at the eastern end of Vancouver Harbour, near Stanley Park, at the north foot of Denman Street. You can walk here along the scenic Coal Harbour Seawalk.
The Vancouver Harbour Tour is the only one of its kind in Vancouver and tours around the inner harbor part of the Burrard Inlet for approximately one hour. The Vancouver Harbour Tour is the perfect way to make the most of this beautiful city. Departing from Downtown Vancouver you travel past the city skyline, seeing such sights as Canada Place and the Vancouver Lookout.
The tour takes you past the busy docks, where you can see large container ships being loaded and unloaded, and from here you head over to the North Shore for some fantastic views of Grouse Mountain and the other North Shore Mountains.
Heading back towards the South Shore, you get to see the famous Lions Gate Bridge and even more famous Stanley Park, as well as a spectacular view of the Downtown Vancouver skyline with mountains in the background.
Harbour Cruises also offers a cruise which concentrates more on the waters on the other side of the downtown peninsula, in English Bay.
This cruise heads off under the Lions Gate Bridge and around Stanley Park before going into English Bay and False Creek for views of Granville Island. All the while you’re treated to spectacular views all around, as well as a tasty meal.
The English Bay Brunch Cruise lasts for 2.5 hours and is also commentated to make sure you don’t miss any of the best sights.
